Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress from Canada. She was born in Winnipeg and born in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut as Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, and was the 2nd youngest recipient to win an award within Oscar history. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin was born on July 24 in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster for Best Supporting Actress for acting as the bright and interesting child of Holly Hunter's lead character on the film The Piano. When she responded to a request for auditions, she was able to audition at the age of nine, and with little previous experience in acting, she won Flora McGrath's role. Flora was the daughter of the Scottish musician who was blind. The couple moved from Scotland to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century to arrange a marriage. Following her move in the United States, she became an adult. Paquin was in a brief role in the role of Jane Eyre's title character while she was a child in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and an important role in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin was a part-time actress in the television movie of 1997 adaption of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the Princess of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as in the role of polexia Aphrodisa groupie in Almost Famous (2000).
