
Lowell broke into acting with the movie Dangerously Close followed by a minor role in the Robin Williams movie Club Paradise. [4] Her roles included co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She was also a part of Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she played the similar role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Then, in 2022, she reprised her role on the original show. Before landing that role, however she was unhappy with her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking programme. [4] She stopped acting in the mid-2000s. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice , while also reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. 2018 saw her return to TV, where she was a guest on Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember, a fashion photographer to whom Lowell was first married she was her third marriage partner. [9][10] She was married from 1989 to 1995 with actor Griffin Dunne and they have one daughter named Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell married actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11] following the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere which was born in February 2000. After eleven years of union, the couple split in September of 2013. They were involved for three years in New York Supreme Court divorce proceedings. The divorce case was settled in October of 2016.
